My Bio

I have always thought of myself as a crafter. From a young age I had crochet needles in my hands. My grandmother and big helper in all these, was always around at that time, to ask for advice whenever I needed one :) I started this way, but then over the years after "mastering" crochet, I started making table runners, place mats, blankets, rugs, scarves, you name it! But it wasn't enough. I was ready to go on another adventure, involving painting onto a regular piece of napkin. YES napkin... But it was so thin, it would always tear through the paper. It was hilarious! I was mad, sad, and I laughed at all the mistakes I made while learning about different techniques.

I always strive for the "perfect" outcome. And you know what? I’m still learning…and I will continue until I grow tired of it.

I usually use needlepoint canvas, tightly woven cotton fabric and Aida fabric. I use a couple of methods and combinations to get those images onto the fabric/canvas, sometimes through paint, a pencil or two, a good sketch maybe? There is a lot of ways to get that finished product. Over the years people have tried a lot of combinations. Today, I will try one of them, but with different approach this time.

When people request custom orders, it always depends on a person to person basis. It's different for everyone. I work on 100% cotton canvas and fabric. Each order will vary, based on the customer need, the time, and the intricacy.
